About Pilates
Would you like to focus on your physical strength, flexibility and coordination?
Pilates is a system of precise structured movements that enhance your physical strength, flexibility and coordination, it can also help to alleviate stress.
I teach a wide range of Pilates classes in and around the Wallingford area, from beginner, intermediate and advanced classes. I also run a specialist class for runners and cyclists that focuses on improving form and core strength to compliment the specific challenges of these sports. If you focus on other forms of cardiovascular exercise, but find niggling injuries or inflexibility are an issue, Pilates can help you find better form, endurance, speed, posture and flexibility in your primary sport. All of my classes are open and friendly.
Lasting Improvement
Key to making lasting improvement is commitment, and when you are making a commitment it helps to make it fun! My classes are delivered in blocks of around 8 weeks, each of which are planned to build your core strength, balance, coordination and overall flexibility.
I have been taking Pilates classes with Helen since she started teaching in Wallingford. I really like that the classes are small so you get lots of individual attention and Helen explains the exercises really clearly. Best of all she accommodates a long standing back injury I have and the weekly classes improve my mobility and general well being. Thank you Helen!
I always sleep so well after Helen’s class. It’s the perfect antidote to a day hunched over a desk. She has the knack of making it fun but also challenging so your muscles let you know they’ve been worked out the following day!

First class free
To make sure the class is right for you, your first class is free. Please get in touch and we can discuss which class would be right for you. I can also conduct 1:1 training at your home, or local studios, on request.
